In 2013, Tingo Mobile Plc captured and registered 14.7 million farmers and agri-businesses, and now supports 9.32 million farmers and agri-businesses by providing them with communication devices and tools (Tingo Mobile produced mobile phones and telephony), access to market and financial inclusion through Tingo’s proprietary payment gateway.

Nwassa is Africa’s First Digital Agriculture Ecosystem that empowers rural farmers and agri-businesses by using simple technology to enable access to market. Farm produce can be shipped from farms across Africa to any part of the world, in both retail and wholesale quantities. Nwassa’s payment gateway also has an escrow structure that creates trust between buyers and sellers.
